Project Overview
Originally built in 1865, the former St. John’s Church has been meticulously restored and reimagined as just 10 bespoke apartments. Original stonework, stained-glass windows, vaulted ceilings, arches and other historic details have been retained throughout, creating homes that celebrate the building’s heritage while introducing a distinctly contemporary standard of living.
The Vision
Designed around the character of the original church, St. John’s Place brings together heritage architecture and modern residential design. Rather than imposing conventional apartment layouts on the building, each home has been individually configured around its existing structure, resulting in distinctive residences with their own proportions, architectural details and character.
“Historic architecture, reimagined for contemporary living.”

Heritage, reimagined.
Key Features
St. John’s Place combines the individuality of a historic building with contemporary specification, creating an intimate collection of character-led homes unlike a conventional new-build development.
10 Bespoke Apartments: An exclusive collection of just ten individually designed residences within the restored former St. John’s Church.
Historic Church Conversion: The landmark building dates from 1865, with its original stonework, spire and significant architectural features carefully preserved.
One & Two Bedroom Homes: A collection of one and two-bedroom residences, including distinctive duplex apartments with mezzanine levels.
Original Architectural Features: Selected homes incorporate stained-glass windows, vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, arches and other features retained from the original church.
Contemporary Specification: Bespoke kitchens with quartz worktops and integrated appliances sit alongside high-specification bathrooms, quality flooring and carefully considered finishes.
Landscaped & Secure: Landscaped communal areas, controlled access and an allocated parking space for each apartment provide additional convenience for residents.
